Who Laughs More?
5 year-olds laugh about 300 times a day. A giggle every 3 minutes.
Us? Just 17 times a day. ☹
C’mon. Let’s laugh more. Because laughter:
· Improves your immune system
· Eases pain
· Improves mood
· Lower bloods pressure
· Reduces stress, depression, anxiety
· Helps you lose weight – up to 4 pounds a year
· Makes you feel happier
· Helps you connect with people
· Helps people remember what you say
They have an edge
Back to those giggling 5 year-olds. They have a big edge. But we can catch up. A little.
Lighten up. Enjoy the moment. Laugh. Giggle. Chortle. Chuckle. Smile.
We don’t need to be great joke-tellers. Thank heavens. I usually forget the punch line. Unless it’s the joke that goes,
A turkey sandwich walked into a bar and ordered a beer. The bartender said, “I’m sorry. We don’t serve food here.”
