I remember when I graduated from college years ago. A fellow graduate was my sighted guide (person who walks with an individual who is blind to help them get from point A to point B).
In the kindness item about Lincoln, NE, Heather asks: "Does this picture need much explanation?" Yes, it does from my perspective. I have no vision to see the picture. When I press enter on the link, the function of my browser of choice which sometimes provides automated picture descriptions finds nothing. I request that someone kindly explain the picture to me using words.
Hello Blake. You are so sweet to let me know. And I apologize for not considering that. 💜
The photo is of a cute, tan, crocheted 'potato', something like the old Mr. Potato Head. It was made by a member of the Crochet Kindness USA Project, which makes small crocheted items that are placed in clear packets, along with a kind note...and then left for others to find.
I also updated the description that goes with the photo. If you go to the Kindness Magnet website (https://kindnessmagnet.substack.com) and click on the article, that should be working. The changes that I made won't affect the email you received earlier.
If there is anything else that I can do to make your reading experience better for Kindness Magnet, please let me know. It's a learning experience and I would be grateful for your guidance.
I loved this entire article, Heather. Every piece was an inspiration! And, though I usually have little good to say about technology, you have turned me around with your graduation story! Just lovely.
I feel the tears about your granddaughter 🌸 Glad you could be there even if not in person
Thank you, Robyn. I visited her in October, and she shared her friends, her haunts, and her life. It was wonderful, so I am grateful. 💜

Thank you, Sharron.
I'm with you on technology. It's a bit of a love - hate relationship!
So glad you got to see your granddaughter graduate! What a special moment!
Thank you, Donna. It was super special. 💜
