I'll write the idea list down, and put it where I'll forget where it is in a day or two. But then I'll remember that it will live on your website forever-ish. So I'll know how to handle...what were we talking about? Oh yeah, the washing machine.
Magnificent article. So true! Your suggestions to overcome Washing Machine brain are spot on, Heather. Great reminder to reintroduce the strategies I've let go of over the years.
"Your thinking is fuzzy and you feel a little scatter brained. You may have trouble sleeping, get headaches, have mood swings.... " We have barely met, yet you know me so well. I feel you wrote this just for me. ha ha ha. Loved the photo of you and your washer. Nice work, Heather.

As a retiree normally two or three small appointments per week is enough. This week has been MORE. I made an actual schedule to be sure I get done everything I want to, this week. As a retired builder I have a body of work to look back on but I'm not finished yet and have more to accomplish. I have used your methods and can verify they work and should be used by anyone trying to get it all done, this week.
Well, "Hi" Mitchell. Glad I didn't scare you away with that whole fog thing.
I've been foggy, too. I hadn't thought of playing cards. Great idea! I hope it doesn't happen to you too often.
I'm off to check out your Substack! 🏃♀️
All your newsletters are beneficial but this one hit home. Great job
Thanks so much, Marcia. I know the feeling!

Oh, haha, Paul! I actually prefer the root beer float analogy....
And yes, please visit my website in perpetuity....I hope!
perpetuity is a long time, but I will!
That is it exactly!

I'm curious to get opinions. Is washing machine brain a female thing?
I imagine that you had a lot on your plate at one time...
Anyway, hope you had a little fun with this....actually kind of a serious subject!

Thanks Sharron. It's just a phase we are all going through haha!
Someone told me the photo was campy......I never had a washer like that when I was camping? Or did I misunderstand?
ha ha ha. Wait a minute... are you supposed to wash your clothes when you go camping? Boy! I sure got that wrong. The photo was adorable.

Thank you, Janice. I know you know exactly how important this is.
Irma Bombeck - now that's a blast from the past. She was so funny back in the day. Showing our age now.
Yes. I'm happy to still be around to show it haha!
