Watching the video of the little girl, I have no doubt that she is being brought up in a household full of love and kindness. Thank you for sharing that, Heather. You're awesome! And try not to hit people either.
Thatβs some pretty fine parenting there so far. She is going to go far with that way she treats her sister. Nice to see this morning, Heather! Thanks.
ππ This was my favorite thing I've seen all day!! I WISH I had someone to yell at in the morning but alas...I live alone. However, I talk to my dog a LOT and I do tell her she's awesome every day. If she understood English her ego would be the size of Texas. π
Don't hit people! Such great advice. I am inspired to try to get through this entire day without hitting one person. Absolutely adorable. Thank you Heather ( you are awesome, I love you..)
Mutual admiration society. Thank you. The last time I yelled was 1988. I am always calm with a slight, but sorry tendency toward cynicism and depression... Kindness and writing keeps it at bay!

Coming to you from CK Steele's Funny AF Women interview newsletter. I love the stick figure logo! If I was going off to work, I would want someone to yell, "Have the day you have." In the movie "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton portray a childless couple who bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. A child is born, but he's not what he appears to be. It's a cute movie and on his first day of school, they drop him off and the guy's all, "Have a great day!" And she's all, "No, no, that's too much pressure," so he says, "Have the day you have." Bwaha! I always thought that was a great send-off.
I think one of the coolest parts to the video is not just what she said, but how big an effort she made to make sure her sister she really internalized it. What a gem!

Thanks for this post!
Don't forget to look in the mirror and yell. All good things, of course!
I think you're awesome and we've just techy-met!
Back at you, lady!! You're awesome! And I won't punch you!

Oh, I've got to see that movie! I love that send off - "Have the day you have." Awesome!
I'm going to try that on for size!
Welcome (from CK Steele's Funny AF Women). And thanks for reading and commenting.
Have a great day....er....Have the Day You Have!
Same! LOL
I forgot to thank you for the stick figure kudo! I love stick figures, so I totally appreciate it when someone else does too!
So underrated. LOL
Be nice to everybody, including the one we live inside! Even people who donβt hit other people much tend to hit themselves a lot.
True words. And sage advice.
