Wow, Heather! In addition to a great message, you have added a GIF and a music video! I am impressed. Now! You should try adding an audio file - reading your article. Wouldn't we love to hear your voice! I tried it with only moderate success. Lots of background noise. Happy May Dau to you.

Hi Sharron. You're so funny!

Last year I tried a few podcasts. My first attempts were about a 2 on a scale of 1-10! You can probably imagine how many tries it took before I decided to just go ahead and publish it! I finally got a better microphone and that seemed to help a little.

Some of my readers said they liked it, while others said they preferred to read....so I ended up doing both.

It was fun! Especially when I got over myself haha!

Here's one from last March: https://kindnessmagnet.substack.com/p/kindness-loop#details

The 2010 movie, "You Again" (comedy directed by Andy Fickman, starring Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sigourney Weaver) has an apology scene that is very sincere and results in this "Life Lesson": People can forgive when they are given a sincere and remorseful apology.

Such a great example! Thank you for sharing it. I love the passage you shared. No excuses. No justification. Just a real apology.

Gail: I’m sorry Ramona, honestly. And I should have been a better friend, obviously. I knew what I was doing. I was so busy being Gail Byer and everything that meant. I just… I was insensitive. I wasn’t a good friend. And I’m sorry.

Ramona: …I feel like I can breathe again.

Very few movies depict someone sincerely apologizing, which is probably a reflection of how difficult it is to say you're sorry.

Thank you, Robyn.

In addition to struggling with apologies, I also have a hard time accepting compliments! So I wrote about that, too: https://kindnessmagnet.substack.com/p/i-dont-know-what-to-say-the-gift

Might give you a chuckle!
